I’ve lost a total of 12 pounds since I started my WMS, woo hoo…. the bad part is that with all my travels I wasn’t always good and I’ve put back on 7 of those 12 pounds. My daughter started the WaiFit program a couple of days after I did and she is down a total of 10 pounds

I did a long weekend trip to Grand Junction a few weeks ago and visited a couple of local wineries and took full advantage of the free samples of both wine and specialty treats. Last weekend I attended Waiora’s Freedom U in Las Vegas. Of course I had to have an In N Out Burger, Double Double Animal Style, twice! I did skip the fries and shake though. Vegas is the land of free drinks also but I limited myself to only a couple each night.

I’m leaving tomorrow for Iowa and I always visit my favorite restaurants for my Iowa food. I’m only going to visit my absolute favorite ones this trip and I will limit my portions. I’m only going to get 1 carton of AE dip instead of the 4-5 that I usually bring home. I have a very hard time depriving myself. The weight is coming off though so I am happy with that.

I will be catching up on my ebay diet ebay listings when I get home next week. I will even count the pounds lost that I gained back. I’ve only listed 2 items so far so I owe you guys 10 more based on todays results.  I’ll blog more when I have more time, gotta run to my weekly tweetup coffee meet, no whipped cream for me this time ; )

I love the waiFIT meal replacement drink. The first day I had the vanilla with a banana blended in it. Yesterday I used a vanilla with a peach and this morning I tried the chocolate and added a banana to it and so far, I think that is my favorite. Not sure what I’ll try tomorrow, gotta run to the store and buy more fruit.

So far, I haven’t gone a day without cheating, sounds like me doesn’t it. Thursday, I had a networking event so I did have 1 Bud Lite but I skipped my daily Mountain Dew. Last night was our #nocofat (Northern Colorado Friday Afternoon Tweetup), drinks are 2 for 1 so I had 2 Bud Lites but I think since they are BOGO, it only counts as 1 ; ) Still no Mountain Dew but now that I’m writing about it, one is sounding pretty good, gotta fight the feeling. Not having too many hunger pains so all is good there.

To keep the other part of my bargain with this blog, I now need to list 3 new items on ebay to match my 3 pound loss. The first item I’m listing today will be a set of Soft Paws. We put a set of these on Oskar so that we wouldn’t have to declaw him and they are awesome.  I now have a small inventory of them and plan to sell them on ebay. Well, I have to run to the Post Office before they close for the holiday weekend. I’m having a waiFIT product launch party at my house Tuesday night, 9/8/9,  the webinar starts at 8:30 pm. Just a little bit about my history.  I was always average size growing up, I was probably even considered slender but I didn’t think so.  When I look at old pictures of me though, I look pretty skinny.  I wore size 29 – 36 men’s Levi’s.  I would love to get back into that size but I want to set realistic goals while doing this, easier to not get stressed out and depressed that way.

We moved out here to Colorado in 1999 and I was about 25 pounds overweight at that time.  I’ve probably put on about 35 pounds since then and I’m not doing anything different than when I was younger.  I’ve never been consistant with exercise, I don’t push myself, I eat & drink what I want, when I want and love fast food.  All signs for disaster.  I also like to drink beer and love all the microbrews out here in Northern Colorado.

I’ll let you know tomorrow if I start my diet or not.  I also need to decide if I want to do my meal replacement shake at breakfast, lunch or dinner.  If you would like to share some of your yummy low calorie recipes (I know there has to be a few) that would be awesome.

As I write this, I just got an email that there is a delay in shipping the burn and also the cleanse product due to the printing of the labels. Those 2 items won’t be shipped until Sept. 1st. I guess I get to “not diet” for another week or so. I’m not going to put on any more weight before then.

I just read something very interesting on my friend, Dr Curt’s, facebook status. I know it’s a retweet when you copy and paste on twitter, not sure what it is when you do it off facebook but I know he won’t mind. Here’s his quote…

I”m just going to start with a few basics here on what I want this blog to be.

I’m combining 2 of the things that I do and love and blogging about them. I hope I can come up with enough interesting things to say to keep you coming back.
